Campaign measurements With technology advancement and the Internet evolution, Marketing has taken a different direction. In my opinion, traditional marketing was all about trying ideas that were rather too safe and completely uncalculated. With new technology, marketing vehicles are carefully being tracked and measured, allowing us to monitor the campaign performance and make the necessary adjustments to achieve better results. Whether more ads need to be purchased or campaign messaging should be re-worded, the campaign management today is a heck of lot better than a typical marketing campaign launched in the 70's with no tracking and measurement components. Social Media and its impact With the recent emerge of social media; there are more ways to raise awareness about your promotions and marketing campaigns. This will allow us, the marketers, to delve into online spaces, which are more targeted towards a specific market segment and drive more traffic. Although, the majority of large corporations are still hesitant to fully embrace the social media phenomenon but for midsize companies the social media component is becoming just another campaign element. Campaign ideas & originality What remains challenging is the campaign idea and creativity. The originality and unique campaign concepts are almost synonymous with its success. With a tremendous amount of promotions and wide range of advertising that desperately competing for consumer's attention, consumers will simply get engage with promotions that are designed creatively and more importantly offer cool prizing. |
